what brings them here.

Remember each of your
friends, and consider what
their pains are and why
you love them. Remember
and cherish times they
have offered you strength
you didn’t have. Find a
tall tree and marvel at its
patience and persistence.

Renew your resolve to
love, even those who have
hurt you, even yourself.
Work to convince
yourself if you must.

Rummage through your
memory and find something
to stop taking for granted.
Stake hope on finding
even more soon.
